Selling primarily at the Amherst Farmers' Market on Saturdays from 8:00am to 1:00pm, from the first weekend in May until mid November

                                        

BAKED GARLIC

Baked Garlic is an all time favorite that oftens opens the garlic-shy palate to the possiblities of this marvelous vegetable that masquerades as a spice!!

 

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees

Trim off roots and slice tops to expose the clove tips.

Place in a baking pan and drizzle with oil.

Sprinkle with oregano or thyme.

Cover dish with foil and bake for 35-45 minutes.

Allow to cool until they can be handled.

Sqeeze out onto toast or crackers.

May be stored up to 5 days in the refrigerator.
