Astarte Community NEWS:
Now Hiring: 2024 Weeder Crew!
At Astarte, our weeder crew functions as a work trade: the crew joins us Tuesdays from 1-3pm starting June 18th through the end of August. Weeder crew members will receive an 11-week CSA share which works the same as our regular CSA - one box of veggies per week plus season pick-your-own so you can savor the delicious veggies and fruits of your labor!
Weeder crew members will be expected to arrive on time, be ready to work outdoors in all weather, and maintain a steady pace throughout assigned tasks for the two hours. The primary work to be done is weeding vegetable beds but tasks may also include some planting, harvesting, mulching, and other field tasks.
Applications due by May 31st with crew spaces filled on a first come, first served basis. You can expect to hear back from us by June 3rd at the latest - see you on June 18th, can't wait!
